Lauren & Johnny | leamington ontario wedding

a few weeks ago i started my 2012 wedding season with a bang. it was a gorgeous day, the sun was shining, everyone was in a fabulous mood, and i was sick with food poisoning. it was an adventure in wedding fun and me trying to make it through the day without eating one single thing. i proved it can be done and i will never forget it. never.

ok, now onto the romantic part of my blog post…..

how do you know that you’re marrying your soul mate. is it a hunch? a roll of the dice? the way they make you laugh? the way you feel when you’re around them? the feeling you get when they walk into a room and look into your eyes? the way you feel safe when they hold you in their arms? the way you hope they’ll never let you go?

when i was alone with Johnny & Lauren during our creative portrait time, there was a moment when Johnny was holding Lauren in his arms and i could just see the look on her face change. it was the look of a woman that loved her new husband so dearly and felt safe enough in his arms that she hoped he’d never let her go.

it’s my favourite feeling in the whole, wide world.

Michelle - Wow! Food poisoning works well for you! These are amazing!

Linda Landschoot - Michelle: You did a wonderful job. We are so happy that Johnny and Lauren picked you as their photographer. I believe that you captured the beauty and fun of the day. Thank you soooo much.

Shella - The couple portraits are gorgeous! But my fave shot has to be the little girl pointing on the dance floor – great capture! 🙂

Nessa K - I really really love the vertical photo of the bride and groom on the bridge. That deserves it’s on wall space somewhere. 🙂

Tall - That first kiss is something else! Great capture!

Leah Kua - What a truly exceptional set. They must be over the moon with the way you’ve recorded their day.

Angel - The big black and white picture with the sunset in the background is sooo amazing! Love this wedding!

Timothy Kaldas - Lovely storytelling. You did a great job capturing all the emotions and beauty of the day. The shot of the flower girls coming down the aisle is adorable.
