sometimes you find love in your teens, sometimes it takes a few more years. you know the type of love i mean, the type that makes your heart race, butterflies in your tummy, giddy all over kind of love.
Sherri & Brad have found it.
i travelled the ferry to Pelee Island at the beginning of the month and documented a very different wedding. i felt like i was documenting a fun family reunion on the beach, not a wedding. flip flops, casual attire and coolers with beer on the deck. yep, sounds like a family party to me!
that’s exactly what Brad & Sherri wanted, and i was honoured to be part of the family for the day.
i had never been to Pelee Island before, but i would highly recommend that couples take a look at the possibility of getting married there. it’s a short ferry ride out of Kingsville, but it feels like you’ve travelled to another world. a tad backwards, slow in pace and totally charming, with miles of gorgeous beaches and cosy cottages and bed & breakfasts. i would TOTALLY get married there!!
anyways, Sherri and Brad are currently in Italy, touring the whole boot (my dream trip by the way). i hope they are having the time of their lives, and i can’t wait to hear all about it.
thank you for being fabulous and so very, very welcoming. Darryl and i had a wonderful weekend away, and felt like we had been a part of your family forever.
i have wonderful clients.
P.S….. check out Sherri & Brad’s ADORABLE grandbabies!!! OMG!!! i was taken with them like you wouldn’t believe!!
ok, here are some photos.
