a couple of weeks ago, i photographed three engagement sessions on one CRAZY Saturday! first up was Tony & Julia, then came Lauren & Johnny, and now Matt & Tammy have their spotlight on the blog.
i have known Matt for a few years now, since i was a leader in the Young Adult ministry at our church and he was a young adult. i always appreciated his kind spirit, his love for God, and his ability to care deeply about people.
Matt & Tammy had a long distance relationship for many years, since jobs kept them from living in the same city. i was so excited when i heard about their engagement, and even more thrilled when they asked me to document their wedding in Muskoka this coming fall. i can’t wait to be up north again, with the beautiful fall leaves and moist smell in the air. it will be even more wonderful than i can even imagine, because i get to photograph a wedding up there!!
i want to thank the Arner family for allowing us the use of their family farm for this lovely engagement session, and a big thanks go out to Matt & Tammy for being willing to sit in weeds, crawl through a barn that was ready to fall down, humouring me when i asked them to lay down in wheat, and putting up with the mosquitoes! i hope you love the results of our little adventure down on the farm!
